Janice Eardley

Position: Branch equality officer

Bio:
Janice has been a shop steward for Unity for over 10 years, representing around 300 members in the ceramics industry. She was a member of Unity's National Executive Council and sits on the Ceramics Industry Welfare Society committee. She has become the branch's equality officer and sits on the regional council.

Karen Dovey

Position: CEC member and workplace representative

Bio:
Karen has been a workplace representative for seven years. She was a member of Unity's National Executive Council for six years, a trustee of Unity for four years and has been on the Ceramics Industry Welfare Society committee for five years. Karen has worked for Wedgwood for more than 38 years.

Kevin Berks

Position: GMB regional committee member

Bio:
For 20 years Kevin has been a Unity representative at Johnson Tiles, where he has worked for more than 36 years. He was a Unity NEC member for nine years, is a member of GMB Regional Committee and sits on the Ceramics Industry Welfare Society committee. He has achieved certificates in employment law and occupational health and safety.

Pete Meyrick

Position: CEC member and workplace representative

Bio:
Pete joined Unity in 1976. He worked for 23 years at a pottery called Biltons Tableware. He then moved over to Waterford Wedgwood where he has worked for the past 15 years. He has been the union rep for the past six years at the distribution sites at Stone and Stafford. He was previously a Unity NEC member and has been a GMB CEC member since the merger.

Sharon Yates

Position: Branch Secretary

Bio:
At the last branch meeting Sharon was appointed as the new Branch Secretary for the S75 Stoke Unity Branch. Like all at GMB I hope you will wish her the best of luck in her new position.
